Inglewood Alive 2025 — Looking Forward to 2026

There’s something special about seeing a small country town come alive for the day.

Inglewood Alive 2025 brought people into the heart of Inglewood, Victoria, for a day filled with music, market stalls, food, classic cars, vintage machinery, entertainment and plenty of local character.

For me, events like this are wonderful to photograph because there is always something happening. One minute it’s live music and performers, the next it’s families wandering through the stalls, people stopping for a chat, kids enjoying the activities or someone proudly showing off a much-loved car.

But my favourite photographs are often the moments in between — people laughing together, familiar faces meeting in the street and the little interactions that show what a community event is really about.

Inglewood has such a distinctive backdrop too. The historic buildings, old shopfronts and wide country streets give the photographs a sense of place that you simply don't get at a purpose-built event venue.

A Celebration of a Country Community

Inglewood Alive is more than entertainment for a day. Events like this bring visitors into town, support local businesses and community groups and, most importantly, give people a reason to come together.

That community atmosphere is exactly what I wanted to capture in these photographs from Inglewood Alive 2025.

Colour, movement, music, interesting characters and real people enjoying themselves — these are the events I love photographing.
