Capturing Innovation at the GEA National Forum 2026 | Sydney Event Photography & Videography
From 2–4 June 2026, I had the opportunity to travel to Sydney to photograph and film the Gas Energy Australia (GEA) National Forum, one of Australia's leading industry events bringing together professionals, innovators, and decision-makers from across the LPG and renewable gas sectors. The forum included networking events, keynote presentations, exhibitions, industry discussions, a gala dinner, and awards celebrations.
As an event photographer and videographer, my focus was on capturing the energy, connections, and genuine moments that tell the story of the event beyond the presentations themselves.
Three Days of Industry Connections and Conversations
The GEA National Forum brought together delegates from across Australia to discuss the future of energy, renewable liquid gases, emerging technologies, industry regulations, and the opportunities shaping the sector's future. The program included a welcome reception, exhibition spaces, keynote sessions, networking opportunities, and the gala dinner and awards evening.
Throughout the three days, I documented:
Conference presentations and keynote speakers
Delegate networking and industry discussions
Trade exhibition interactions
Corporate branding and event activations
Awards presentations and gala dinner celebrations
Behind-the-scenes moments often missed by attendees
These authentic moments help organisations showcase their events long after the final session has ended.
Why Professional Event Photography Matters
Industry conferences are about more than presentations. They are about relationships, innovation, and the people driving progress within their industries.
Professional event photography creates a visual archive that can be used for:
Future event marketing
Social media campaigns
Media releases
Annual reports
Internal communications
Sponsor recognition
Corporate storytelling
For conferences and large-scale corporate events, strong imagery becomes a valuable business asset long after the event concludes.
Creating Content Beyond Photography
Alongside photography coverage, I also captured video content designed for promotional reels, social media highlights, and future marketing campaigns.
Short-form video allows organisations to extend the reach of their events, helping engage audiences who were unable to attend while showcasing the atmosphere and value delivered to delegates and sponsors.
Event Photography Across Australia
Based in Victoria, I regularly travel throughout Australia to photograph conferences, corporate events, awards nights, leadership forums, exhibitions, and multi-day industry gatherings.
Whether it's a one-day business event or a large-scale national conference, my goal remains the same: to capture authentic moments, professional branding, and the connections that make each event unique.
Planning a Conference or Corporate Event?
If you're organising a conference, leadership summit, awards night, trade exhibition, or corporate event and need professional photography or videography coverage, I'd love to hear about your event.
Every conference has a story worth telling—and great visual content ensures that story continues long after the final applause.

Josh & Ellie — Intimate Garden Wedding at Eden Yarra Valley
Josh & Ellie’s intimate wedding at Eden Yarra Valley was filled with beautiful gardens, rustic luxury details, emotional moments, and warm celebration energy. A relaxed boutique wedding with natural storytelling, handmade details, candlelit barn dining, and honest photography focused on connection and atmosphere.
Some weddings feel loud and fast.
Josh and Ellie’s wedding at Eden Yarra Valley felt completely different — intentional, relaxed, emotional, and deeply personal from beginning to end.
Set amongst beautiful gardens, warm timber textures, and rustic luxury details, their day was filled with colour, movement, laughter, and the kind of atmosphere that can’t be staged.
With a smaller guest list made up of their closest people, the entire wedding felt intimate in the best possible way. Every conversation mattered. Every detail had meaning.
From the very beginning, the focus was never on perfection.
It was about connection.
A Boutique Yarra Valley Wedding with a Relaxed Luxury Feel
Eden Yarra Valley created the perfect backdrop for Josh and Ellie’s celebration.
The venue balanced refined elegance with rustic warmth — lush gardens, natural textures, timber features, soft evening light, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made guests feel comfortable.
Nothing about the day felt rushed.
Guests spent the afternoon enjoying drinks in the gardens, surrounded by colour, music, and conversation while the sun moved softly across the property.
The entire celebration felt immersive and personal rather than overly formal.
That’s what made it beautiful.
A Handmade Dress Full of Meaning
One of the most special details from the entire day was Ellie’s dress.
Handmade by her mum, it carried so much emotion before the ceremony had even begun.
The dress felt timeless, delicate, and completely her — soft movement, beautiful detail, and something far more meaningful than simply buying a gown off a rack.
You could feel the love stitched into it.
Those are the details that matter years later.
Not trends. Not perfection. But meaning.
Honest Moments Over Stiff Posing
The entire wedding naturally unfolded with so many genuine moments.
The laughter between friends during drinks. The quiet in-between moments before the ceremony. The way Josh looked at Ellie throughout the day. The movement of guests through the gardens. The energy once everyone reached the barn for dinner and dancing.
Nothing needed to be forced.
The atmosphere already existed.
The goal throughout the day was simply to document it honestly — preserving the feeling of the wedding rather than interrupting it.
Rustic Reception Inside the Barn
As evening settled in, guests moved into the rustic barn reception space.
Warm wood textures, candlelight, layered colours, and long shared tables created an atmosphere that felt both elevated and relaxed at the same time.
The styling embraced colour beautifully without losing the softness of the overall aesthetic.
Everywhere you looked there was warmth:
Flowers. Timber. Laughter. Wine glasses. Movement. Music.
The reception felt less like a formal event and more like one long celebration shared between family and friends.
And once the dancing started, the entire space came alive.
A Wedding Focused on Feeling
Josh and Ellie’s wedding is a reminder that weddings do not need to be massive to feel unforgettable.
A smaller guest list created space for presence.
People connected. People slowed down. People experienced the day together rather than simply attending it.
Every part of the celebration reflected who they are as a couple — warm, relaxed, stylish, emotional, and deeply connected to the people around them.
Natural Wedding Photography at Eden Yarra Valley
This wedding was photographed with a documentary-inspired approach focused on atmosphere, emotion, and real interaction.
Rather than overly posed imagery, the focus stayed on:
Honest moments
Natural movement
Emotion and connection
Editorial-inspired storytelling
The atmosphere of the venue and celebration
The result is a gallery that feels true to the day itself.
Not just how it looked. But how it felt.

Lifestyle Photography Session in Victoria – Rebecca & Holly
Bendigo Melbourne Photographer Videographer Family Wedding Business corporate events
Based in Bendigo, Victoria, I offer natural photography sessions across Melbourne and regional Victoria, specialising in authentic lifestyle, family, and pet photography.
A windswept afternoon filled with energy, seabreeze, and a dog who fully lives life.
This was my second session photographing Rebecca and Holly, and by the end of the shoot we were already talking about the next.
Holly, a beautifully exuberant German Shorthaired Pointer, brings a level of energy that makes every session feel alive. One moment calm beside Rebecca watching the waves, the next sprinting across the sand with complete joy and freedom.
We photographed this session along the Victorian coastline, creating a relaxed and natural environment with soft light, open space, and movement-driven imagery.
What stood out most was the connection between them. Holly is not just a pet — she is a constant companion, adventure partner, and source of joy.
Sessions like this are a reminder that the strongest images come from real connection, movement, and trust rather than perfection.
Rebecca was incredibly happy with the final gallery and cinematic reel, and I
May 2026 Eucalyptus Dreaming
A new chapter for one of Australia’s most recognised family businesses — documenting the opening of Bosisto's new eucalyptus plant and a significant moment for regional Victoria, innovation, and generations of legacy moving forward.
Tradition Moving Forward
Photographing the Opening of the New Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Plant in Wedderburn, Victoria
Recently, I had the privilege of photographing the opening of the new eucalyptus plant for Bosisto's — a significant milestone for one of Australia’s oldest and most recognised family businesses.
With a history spanning more than 175 years, the day represented far more than the opening of a new facility. It was a celebration of legacy, regional growth, innovation, and the continuation of a proudly Australian story into a new generation.
There was a strong sense of optimism throughout the day. Local faces, industry leaders, long-standing supporters, and new generations all gathered together to mark an exciting step forward — not only for the company itself, but for the wider region and community connected to it.
What stood out most was the balance between history and progress. The deep roots of the business remain unmistakable, while the vision for the future feels equally strong. New projects, renewed investment in regional Victoria, and the continuation of a family legacy created an atmosphere that felt both grounded and forward-looking.
From a photographic perspective, these are the kinds of events I’m always drawn to — real stories, genuine people, and moments carrying meaning beyond the surface. Quiet interactions, proud conversations, movement through the space, and the details that help tell the broader story of a place and the people behind it.
It was an honour to document such an important moment for a business that has become part of Australian history, while also witnessing the beginning of a new chapter still being written.
