Alice & Ant – A heartfelt Wedding in the Dandenong Ranges

Nestled among the towering forests of the Dandenong Ranges, Alice and Ant celebrated their wedding surrounded by the people who matter most. It was a day filled with laughter, quiet emotion and countless genuine moments that unfolded naturally from beginning to end.

One of my favourite parts of wedding photography is noticing the little things—proud parents watching from across the room, a reassuring squeeze of the hand before the ceremony, shared smiles between lifelong friends, and those fleeting moments that often become the most treasured memories.

Alongside documenting the day as it happened, we also created a collection of carefully curated portraits that reflected Alice and Ant's connection and the beauty of their surroundings. The soft forest light, towering trees and peaceful atmosphere of the Dandenong Ranges provided the perfect backdrop for timeless, natural images.

Their wedding was a wonderful reminder that the most meaningful photographs are often found in the quiet in-between moments—the ones that can't be planned, only noticed.
